Dr Yvonne Nguyen is a specialist consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, the highest credential in dermatology in Australia. Before medicine, she completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours and practiced as a registered pharmacist — a background that shapes her rigorous, evidence-based approach to treatment selection and prescribing today.
She holds a medical degree and a Master of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Sydney, with research in vulval dermatology published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. During medical school she was awarded international scholarships to train at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi.
Her specialist training spanned Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, University College Hospital London, Liverpool Hospital, and Royal North Shore Hospital, covering medical and surgical dermatology, biologics, genital dermatology, and paediatric dermatology across two continents.
